I’m Blake Poyser, 29, and currently in my second and final year of a Master of Teaching (Primary). I was born in Bendigo and lived in Singapore with my family from 2000–2002 before returning to Bendigo, where I lived until the end of high school.
I later moved to Melbourne to study Sport Science at Victoria University. During my studies, I worked as a casual tennis coach from 2015–2018, then full time from 2019–2023 at the Veneto Club in Bulleen. Coaching for nine years has made me confident, energetic, and comfortable working with people of all ages.
After finishing full-time coaching, I travelled through Europe and the UK for six months before moving to Geelong to be with my fiancée. We recently got married in November 2025. Sport has always been a big part of my life, particularly basketball, football, and tennis. Outside of work and study, I enjoy cooking, hiking and, travelling to explore new places with my wife.
